Did you know the United States of America is the richest and most powerful country in the world with half the world’s billionaires? Did you also know the US has the highest rate of significant mental illness among all countries studied, according to the World Health Organization and medical journals? There’s something distinctly non-victorious about American lifestyles!

But Paul gives great advice for when we get caught up in the pressures daily American living, and it’s an insightful path to freedom:

On the first day of every week let each one of you put aside and save, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come. 1 Corinthians 16:2
