1 Thessalonians 2: Building Revolutionary Communities

This entry is part 3 of 11 in the series 1 Thessalonians

When Paul and his companions entered the city of Thessalonica, his enemies warned the local authorities:

“These men who have upset the world have come here also!” Acts 17:6

What a great description of the rising revolution in the Roman Empire! Without money, armies, or weapons it became a movement that even Rome couldn’t stop! How did they do it?

When Christian groups lose this revolutionary spirit, it’s not because it’s complicated, Paul says. He describes how they built truly  “Revolutionary Communities”, and it’s simple!
